Submitted requests of citizens are processed within 48 hours and applicants receive feedback within three days.

HOW TO USE EU IPA FUNDS

 Jadranka Joksimovic, minister without portfolio in the government of Serbia, in charge of European integration, visited memorial park "Bubanj" in Nis, which is restored with the funds from the IPA, with the head of the negotiating team for Serbia joining the EU, Dr Tanja Miščević and staff, and with the president of Municipality of Palilula in Nis Boban Džunić.Jadranka Joksimovic declared on this occasion that Serbia as a candidate country for membership in the European Union, should maximally utilize funds that are offered by EU and states that each year, Serbia has about 200 million from IPA funds. The Minister said that Niš municipality of Palilula, which implemented the project of renovation of Memorial Park "Bubanj", is one of the most successful municipalities in the region, with the degree and extent of use of IPA funds and will have the support of the ministries for other projects.

GREAT INTEREST FOR HEALTH CHECKING

 Health Center Nis "house of good health" in promotional activity, "Getting closer to the patients," continued this week with the action that was started in early July in Palilula rural area villages that do not have an ambulance. The team of the institution was in the villages Lalinac and Krušce. In total, there were 94 patients and 2 patients in the home setting. Citizens are free to check their health through clinical examination, EKG- at home, determine the level of sugar in the blood and to obtain advice regarding the treatment of chronic diseases. GABROVAC WILL BE CONNECTED TO THE CITY WATER SUPPLY NETWORK BY OCTOBER

 The village of Gabrovac, after months of negotiation of the Citizens Council and the leadership of JKP "Naissus" with the mediation of Palilula - reached an agreement on the conditions of use of urban water supply. Thus began the reconstruction of the existing network and connection of households to the water network. The contract has already been signed with 150 households and is expected soon with another 100 households. It is expected that the works will be completed by October this year. Water from the city water supply will be brought to other villages in the municipality, according to the president Boban Džunić.

CLOSER TO THE PATIENTS OF PALILULA MUNICIPALITY!

NORWEGIAN AMBASSADOR VISITED "SAFE HOUSE" IN NIS

Sonja Scekic, director of the institution, informed the guests about the activities and equipment.Safe houses are specialized services for women survivors of domestic violence, that provide shelter for people exposed to acute violence and are a necessary mechanism in the system of protection from violence.
